.Purindo is an organization based in Jakarta which consist of PT.Purindo Solutions Rekadaya and PT.Purindo Uliarta Swadaya. The founders of Purindo has extensive experience in the field of Instrumentation , Automation and Mechanization Electrification in Pulp & Paper, Power Plant, Chemical Plant and Oil & Gas Offshore industries.

Together with sister company , we have executed several projects such as the replacement of total Human Machine Interface ( HMI ), Troubleshooting communication of Distributed Control System ( DCS ), Modified Control Strategy ( DCS ), Audit DCS and Engineering ,Procurement & Construction for Fire & Alarm System ( FAS ).

One project that we did was to replace Human Machine Interface (HMI) based on UNIX , provide lessons and valuable experience . Customer requirement is to use data and symbols that exist in the UNIX-based computer.

This is where the challenge is, because experts who can use UNIX in Indonesia is virtually non-existent, so Purindo must find people in this world which is already scarce . Thanks to the network during work as an Instrument & Control Engineer ,we can find an expert in UNIX and the rest is a success story and now the customer HMI runs very well under Windows.
